Abstract

Standing wave total internal reflection fluorescence microscopy is a wide-field super-resolution technique with PSF FWHM better than 1/5 of emission wavelength. An enhanced lateral resolution is demonstrated in objective-launched geometry by imaging cellular actin cytoskeleton.
