Characterization of Tissue Birefringence with a High Speed Polarization Sensitive OCT System

Abstract

The design and implementation of a polarization sensitive OCT system is described. An iterative algorithm is used to calculate the Jones matrix of the sample. The performance of the system is evaluated with muscle samples.
