Abstract

We developed partial-wave spectroscopy that is sensitive to nano-structural alterations in living biological cells and provides information beyond what conventional light microscopy reveals. We show that partial-wave spectroscopy enables detection of the earliest pre-neoplastic changes in rat colonic epithelial cells.
