A Simplified Globally Convergent Reconstruction Method for 3 Dimensional Optical Tomography

Abstract

A novel method is presented for reconstruction of optical absorption coefficient from transmission Near-Infrared data with a continuous-wave source. This mathematical scheme has the potential to work for large data sets in highly heterogeneous background.
