Dependence of the contrast on the size of scattering abnormalities

Abstract

Relationship between the scattering contrast and inclusion size is analyzed, using Monte Carlo simulations and experimental data. It is different for increased and decreased scattering cases. A random walk model is substantiated for increased scattering.
