Diffuse time-resolved reflectance and transmittance measurements of the female breast using different interfiber distances in the region 610- 1040 nm

Abstract

Absorption and scattering spectra were measured. A large intersubject variation is seen, correlating with the water-lipid content. Variations due to geometry and tissue heterogeneity are seen, but are small compared to the intersubject variation.
