Abstract

A near infrared multi-channel time-resolved spectroscopy system (TRS) based on time-correlate photon counting method has been developed. This system acquires the TRS data with 0.2sec sampling time at 16 points, simultaneously. The oxy- and deoxy- hemoglobin concentration changes can be determined within 3 % accuracy in phantom model experiment. Changes in oxy- and deoxy-hemoglobin in human head could be detected under the task of the Wisconsin Card Sorting Test.
