Improvement of transcutaneous fluorescent image by depth-dependent PSF

Abstract

For reflection-type transcutaneous fluorescent imaging, the equation of a depth-dependent PSF was derived. The visible depth in a scattering medium became almost twice as deep using this technique. The usefulness was demonstrated in animal experiments.
