Clinical Photodynamic Therapy and Photodynamic Detection

Abstract

In the present communication, we present results of the preclinical/clinical development of the hexyl ester of 5 aminolevulinic acid as a precursor of protoporphyrin IX for photodetection and phototherapy of early cancer in the bladder and other organs.
