Abstract

Cartilage tissue is a tough and slippery material with slow regeneration when injured. Anyhow many people, especially sportsmen, suffer from cartilage injuries usually through sudden overstraining of their joints. Up to now orthopedic surgery does not offer satisfying repair solution due to the slow regeneration of cartilage tissue.
