Abstract

For more than a decade, scientists and physicians of many different medical disciplines have been working on the subject of Photodynamic Therapy (PDT). The main requirements for bringing PDT from the research arena into routine practise are both the approval of effective photosensitizers and suitable instruments for giving a flexible, efficient and most of all a patientfriendly solution to the physician.
