A molecular mechanism for differential light scattering in tumorigenic and non-tumorigenic cells

Abstract

A mechanism is identified for recent observations on tumorigenic and non-tumorigenic fibroblast cells and organelles [1]. It is proposed that in these systems it is a fundamental change in molecular electronic properties which heralds the onset of cancer.
