A nitroaniline-based, all-solid photonic bandgap fiber

Abstract

A photonic bandgap fiber realized using 2-methyl 4-nitroaniline in a silica microstructured cladding glass background is demonstrated. This hybrid optical fiber exhibits variable guidance characteristics over broad band of wavelengths.
