Bragg Gratings in a Bioresorbable Phosphate Glass Optical Fiber

Abstract

The inscription of Bragg gratings in a bioresorbable phosphate optical fiber using 193 nm excimer laser radiation is reported. The dissolution of the fiber immersed in aqueous solution is monitored through the cladding modes spectra.
