Tunable-wavelength high-speed pulsed-laser using active mode locking cavity

Abstract

We present a tunable-wavelength nano-second pulsed Erbium-doped fiber (EDF) laser using active mode locking cavity. Its high-repetition rate of several hundred kHz is suitable for fast photo-acoustic imaging.
