Fabricating fiber Bragg gratings with wide range and precise wavelength control

Abstract

We demonstrate a Bragg grating fabrication technique based on a phase-controlled interferometric approach with coarse and fine wavelength tuning by fabricating multiple Bragg reflectors in the range of 1200-2200 nm, all within a single device.
