Transmission Bandpass Filters Based on Force-Induced Fiber Gratings for Sensor and Tunable Laser Applications

Abstract

We present an all-fiber bandpass filter consisting of a force-induced long-period fiber grating and a fiber coil made along a double-clad fiber. We discuss its adjustable transmittance, temperature sensitivity, and laser wavelength tuning.
