Nonlinear transport and spectrum reshaping of a stripe beam in optically induced photonic structures

Abstract

Nonlinear spectrum reshaping of a stripe-beam in 2D lattices leads to first demonstration of embedded and gap soliton-trains arising from Bloch-modes at band-edges and non-band-edges. Surface soliton-trains as periodic nonlinear Tamm states are also demonstrated.
