Abstract

Strongly localized, iso-frequency, one-dimensional discrete vector solitons whose components have mutually orthogonal polarizations are studied experimentally and analytically. Dominating TE mode spreads in cascades in saturation while weaker TM mode splits into a double-hump structure.
