Abstract

A novel photonic variable length packet routing network based on multi-wavelength label switch using fiber Bragg gratings and supercontinuum light source is proposed. 10Gbit/s variable length packet switching with all-optical multi-wavelength label recognition is demonstrated experimentally for the first time.
