Low-loss, narrow-band reflector in the UV using a grating-waveguide structure

Abstract

We show, theoretically, that a grating-waveguide structure can be used as a reflector in the UV, with a narrow spectral width, in the presence of large material absorption. The reflector is polarization sensitive.
