Kilohertz rate picosecond pulses amplifier for pumping of OPCPA system

Abstract

We demonstrate simple and efficient amplifier operating at 1000Hz repetition frequency producing 48ps pulses of 40mJ output energy. Smooth beam profile and good stability makes this amplifier ideal pump of OPCPA systems.
