Compensation of Thermal Depolarization in CaF2 with no Additional Phase Elements

Abstract

Compensation of depolarization in lasers’ active elements at small birefringence without additional phase elements was proposed and experimentally observed. Requirements on the crystals were formulated. A further modification of the scheme was found.
