Chirping regenerative amplifier with dispersive optics

Abstract

A regenerative amplifier with a chirped volume Bragg grating has been developed. A seed pulse is temporally stretched to 424ps with 1.2mJ at 100Hz. The obtained chirping ratio is as high as 2.1ns/nm.
