Fiber Oscillator producing 91 fs Pulses with 0.8 μJ at 60 W of Average Power

Abstract

A mode-locked rod-type fiber oscillator emitting 66 W of average power is demonstrated. The pulses are dechirped to 91 fs with high efficiency, hence a peak power of 7 MW is reached.
