Pressure-controlled phase-matching to the third harmonic in Ar-filled hollow core PCF

Abstract

Hollow core photonic crystal fibre filled with Ar at pressures of 5 bar offers long interaction lengths and high nonlinearity. Pressure-tuned phase-matched third harmonic and supercontinua are generated from 30 fs pulses at 800 nm.
