Generation of squeezed states of light at 860 nm with periodically poled MgO:LiNbO3 crystal

Abstract

We report generation of squeezed light at 860nm by using a periodically poled MgO:LiNbO3 crystal in a subthreshold optical parametric oscillator. At the pump power of 140mW we observed the squeezing level of −5.72 ±0.14dB.
