High peak power flattop picosecond pulses for parametric amplification

Abstract

We report on an Yb doped fiber amplifier system temporarily synchronized to a broad bandwidth Ti:Sa oscillator delivering 380 μJ infrared pulses which are frequency-doubled to 175 μJ flattop shaped pulses suitable for OPCPA pumping.
