Intracavity phase measurement towards sub nanometer resolution

Abstract

Using intracavity phase measurement technique, we designed a linear laser cavity with two pulses per cavity operation, that provides a sample/reference arm. We demonstrate the conversion of nanometer positioning of a mirror into kHz bandwidth.
