Precision phase stabilization of amplified Yb:fiber frequency comb with average power >; 10W

Abstract

We implement complete phase stabilization of a mode-locked Yb:fiber laser and its subsequent amplifier, producing a precise optical frequency comb with >10W average power and significantly improved noise performance compared to Er:fiber based frequency combs.
