104 W Highly Efficient Thulium Doped Germanate Glass Fiber Laser

Abstract

104 W 1.9µm laser was demonstrated from a 40-cm-long dual-end pumped Tm-doped germanate glass fiber. The Slope efficiency of 68% was achieved from 20-cm-long one-end pumped fiber with an output power of 64 W.
