Abstract
We describe the synthesis and spectroscopic investigation of neodymium-doped silicone-urea copolymers. Absorption and luminescence analysis show that neodymium-doped silicone-urea copolymers are promising candidates for the development of polymer-based active photonic devices in the near infrared.
