Novel Design of Powerful Femtosecond Laser at 800nm Wavelength.

Abstract

A simple and reliable femtosecond laser design is suggested, which comprises a Er:fiber laser at 1550nm, a fiber stretcher, a BBO optical parametric amplifier with wavelength conversion to 800nm, Ti:Sa/BBO amplifiers, and a usual compressor.
