Abstract

High speed electro-optical cavity dumping is demonstrated for diode-pumped lasers, namely a picosecond Nd: YVO4 and a femtosecond Yb: glass oscillator. Repetition frequencies exceeding 1 MHz are obtained with pulse energies of more than 1.5 μJ / 300 nJ.
