Abstract

The carrier envelope offset phase of a polarization-maintaining fiber frequency comb laser is stabilized for long periods of time. The performance of the system in metrology applications is comparable to a traditional Ti: sapphire-based comb but surpasses in terms of stability, ruggedness, compactness and ease of use.
