Abstract

We describe the design and mode-locked operation of compact (30cm × 45 cm) femtosecond multi-pass-cavity Ti3+:Al2O3 lasers which operate at 31 MHz and can generate 19-fs, 3.65 nJ pulses with only 1.5 W of pump.
