White light continuum generation in planar waveguides

Abstract

A Low-noise white-light continuum with bandwidths up to an octave is demonstrated by propagating nanojoule femtosecond pulses in planar waveguides operating in the normal dispersion region at wavelengths far from the zero dispersion point.
