Abstract
A modular and compact fiber-based chirped-pulse oscillator-amplifier system based on single-mode Er3+-fiber is demonstrated. It delivers sub-800 fs pulses at 1.56 µm with pulse energies of 2.6 – 4.8 µJ at repetition rates between 100 KHz and 300 kHz. Up to 200 kHz repetition rate pulse energies of 1µJ were obtained by frequency doubling of the output signal with an aperiodically poled LiNbO3-crystal.
