Frequency-doubled Tb: YLF DUV laser at 272 nm

Abstract

We obtained DUV laser at 272 nm via intra-cavity second harmonic generation of a Tb:LiYF4 green laser with a BBO nonlinear crystal. Several resonator setups were investigated. In the best configuration, the DUV laser delivered a continuous-wave power of 127 mW at 1.44 W pump power at 488 nm.
