Dual-comb Generation from a Simple Single-cavity Mode-locked Bulk Laser

Abstract

We present a novel scheme for a single-cavity dual-comb bulk laser based on intrinsic polarization-multiplexing in an optically uniaxial gain medium. The concept is experimentally realized in a mode-locked sub-100-fs Yb:CNGS laser.
