High power modulated-longitudinal-mode microsecond-pulse sodium beacon laser development and experimental study

Abstract

A 208 W all-solid-state modulated-longitudinal-mode quasi-continuous-wave sodium beacon laser was developed, and the photon return flux was up to 56800 photons/s/cm2 during the pulse length without obvious saturation effect.
