2 W, 95 fs Kerr-lens mode-locked Yb:YSO laser

Abstract

We demonstrate a high power Kerr-lens mode-locked Yb:YSO laser pumped by a single-mode fiber laser for the first time. Pulses with as high as 2 W average power and 95 fs duration are obtained.
