1.91 μm Diode-pumped Tm3+:YLF Bulk Laser Passively Mode-locked with GaAs-based SESAM

Abstract

We report on a passively mode-locked diode-pumped Tm3+:YLF oscillator operating at the central wavelength of 1.91 µm. The laser is mode-locked with a GaAs-based SESAM and emits a pulse train at 95 MHz with a maximal power of 73 mW.
