Abstract

Proof-of-principal experimental results for two types of thin-disc water-cooled Ti:Sapphire (Ti:Sa) amplifiers will be presented. Scaling simulations based on experimental results demonstrate the feasibility of hundreds Hz sub-PW Ti:Sa laser systems.
