Observation of Rare Gas Flames Inside a Kerr Lens Mode-locked Thin-disk Ring Oscillator

Abstract

We report observation of rare gas flames beyond 10 MHz inside a Kerr lens mode-locked thin-disk ring oscillator under an intra-cavity peak intensity of ~28 TW/cm2 for the first time, to the best of our knowledge.
