1.57-Micron-Pumped CdSiP2 Mid-Infrared OPO

Abstract

We report on a widely tunable, nanosecond-pulsed CdSiP2 OPO pumped by a 1.57-micron source. The OPO was angle tuned across the 2–5 micron spectrum producing over 2 mJ at 32% conversion efficiency.
