Kerr-lens Mode-locked Tm3+:Sc2O3 laser at 2.1μm wavelength range

Abstract

We demonstrate a Kerr-lens mode-locked Tm3+:Sc2O3 laser in-band pumped by a 1611 nm fiber laser. 166 fs pulses with 440 mW output power and 298 fs pulses with 1 W output power are obtained.
