Towards a Pulse Energy of 100 μJ Inside a Kerr Lens Mode-locked Thin-disk Ring Oscillator

Abstract

We report an upgrade of our Kerr lens mode-locked thin-disk ring oscillator, which has so far yielded an unprecedented intra-cavity pulse energy of ~75 μJ with a pulse duration of 498 fs at 13.4 MHz.
