Intra-cavity passive coherent combining in a crossed-Porro resonator configuration

Abstract

We investigate passive coherent beam combining of two pulsed multimode Nd:YAG laser channels in a crossed-Porro resonator configuration, and measure the misalignment sensitivity. We obtain 97% combining efficiency with reduced sensitivity compared to plano-plano configuration.
