Abstract

We fabricate an evanescent-field-interacting carbon nanotube saturable absorber (CNT-SA) based on standard planar lightwave circuit (PLC) fabrication process. A 200-MHz repetition-rate all-fiber soliton Er-laser is demonstrated using this PLC-based CNT-SA.
